About Us
Elite Recovery Services was established by Joseph Schwary. Joseph was a naval veteran who was critically injured in an automobile versus pedestrian accident. His treatment involved 15 separate surgeries and then expensive compression therapy services to help him recover.
Following Joseph’s positive experience using compression therapy, we wanted to set up a business that offered compression therapy to a wide range of customers from athletes after training sessions and games to residential homeowners in recovery from injuries or suffer from various wellness and fitness issues.
Our Mission
The mission we have for Elite Recovery Services is to make compression therapy available not just for athletes, but for everyday people who are overworked, stressed, and need to find relief from their pain. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our patients and offer products and support that tackle the source of the problem rather than the problem itself.
Using Normatec product, we want to show people that compression therapy, that is, the use of controlled pressure that increases the flow of blood while reducing volume, can help them. Our services will involve the use of products like straps, tights, stockings, and socks.
Our Vision
Our vision for Elite Recovery Services is to lead a campaign that kickstarts the end of increased blood pressure and associated problems on a worldwide scale. We aim to do this by providing our therapy solutions and specialized products that are incredibly effective for our patients, whether they are athletes or everyday people Our focus, moving forward will be to always develop and deliver the highest quality in compression therapy products that can provide the necessary efficiency and effectiveness.
Our History
Elite Recovery Services is a healthcare and recovery specialist, a partnership-based startup that is owned by Joseph. Joseph has had experience and benefitted from compression therapy after he was involved in an automobile versus pedestrian accident. He had to undergo 15 surgeries and then experience compression therapy to fully recover so he could be back on his feet again.
ERS Wellness is based in and serves the local Enid, Oklahoma area, but have plans to expand and grow to become a more countrywide-serving company. Joseph holds a degree from the University of Southern New Hampshire in Sports Marketing and Management and has been running a successful compression and cryotherapy business by himself for the last couple of years. He likes to take a personal approach, treating the patients with kindness, warmth, and respect.
Although he is not personally involved in the therapy sessions, he is always on hand to make sure his customers feel good and like they are well taken care of.
Our Process
At Elite Recovery Services, we utilize high-end Normatec Compression equipment, like the Normatec Pulse 2.0 and the Pulse Pro 2.0. The NormaTec system involves patented technology that provides pneumatic compression to massage the hips, arms, and legs while enhancing circulation to combat increased blood pressure and reduce the soreness experienced by patients.
The NormaTec Pulse follows a specific massage pattern that is divided into five pulses:

- Zone 1 receives pulsing compression
- Zone 2 receives pulses, while Zone 3 holds pressure
- Zone 3 pulses, while Zone 1 and 2 hold pressure
- Zone 4 pulses while Zone 2 and 3 hold pressure
- Zone 5 pulses, while Zone 3 and 4 hold pressure
